By accessing or using hack.iowa ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What hack.iowa Is

hack.iowa is a free, community-driven link aggregation and discussion site for Iowa's tech community. We do not charge for access, run advertisements, or sell user data.

3. Accounts

To participate (post, comment, vote), you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By submitting content, you grant hack.iowa a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content on the Site. You may delete your posts and comments at any time.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal under United States or Iowa law
• Is spam, phishing, or commercial solicitation
• Harasses, threatens, or doxxes other users
• Contains malware or malicious links
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Impersonates another person or organization

5. Moderation

Site administrators may remove content or ban accounts that violate these terms, at their discretion. Banned users will be notified with a reason when one is provided. We aim to be fair but reserve the right to make final moderation decisions.

6. No Warranty

The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or availability. We may modify or shut down the Site at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

hack.iowa and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, content, or access. Use the Site at your own risk.

8. Third-Party Links

Users post links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance. We will note the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
